The Keepers of Midgate

Liberation: Book 1

Freedom to live. Freedom to kill.

Liberation is the first of an epic trilogy set in a world brimming with powerful elemental magic, sentient but reclusive dragons, and diverse but clashing cultures. Within this tapestry, three stories begin: a prisoner scarred by his past, suffocating in his desert hell, a crown prince bound by his family’s tragic death, and a myrprincess stripped of command and promised to a human.

Their battles stretch across continents, but all are more intertwined than they can possibly imagine. They all seek the same goal: freedom. But the darkness of the world is spreading quickly, and those gifted with power must decide how to use that freedom.

To live without bonds, or to enter the fight? To kill?

Sundering: Book 2

Power to build. Power to destroy.

Magic is powerful. Magic is dangerous. But so is the madness of the world.

The epic continues as stories intertwine…

Desert Rose

For generations, the Manalal have warred against the wildlings—monstrous half-people polluted by Fire magic—putting all to slaughter by command of their proud and merciless king. But she is not meant for adventure, for she is promised to one of her father’s vicious warlords.

When she nearly dies along the border, her life becomes intertwined with the wildling noble Amraak, a warrior true to the Fire in his blood. A man of vision, Amraak sees in Shirasa not only talent and beauty, but destiny.

But even as they fall for each other, the rift between their peoples drives them apart. Caught between duty to her people and the irresistible draw of her heart, Shirasa must find a way to establish peace, before the desert she loves is bathed in blood.

The previously untold story of a romance so unexpected, so sweet, and so forbidden, it destroyed an entire corner of the world. A stand-alone full-length novel.
