Dear readers,
I met my goal to complete a draft of “Liberation: Book 1 of The Dragonkeepers of Midgate” by Christmas!
The final chapter came together this morning, yielding a total of 122,799 words. I am beyond excited about this achievement, even though I know it will go through some revisions as my beta readers do their thang.
NOOOOOOOOO!!! This is the end? Are you still writing chapters, or does this continue in the next book?
This is Book 1 of 3, so the story will continue. Is this a good ending for the first book? Is it a horrible awful cliffhanger that you hate? What are your biggest questions about what’s going to happen? What are you hoping to find out if you continue to the second book? Would you continue to a second book as a reader?
Too much cliffhanger for me–especially since so much happened in the last couple of chapters. I would like some kind of a conclusion to at least part of the story. Something good? I’m most interested in the storyline of Konan as the real Reylin. I do want to read the next book, but I’m the person who binge watches tv shows all night long, so waiting months for the next installment will lessen my excitement to pick up and to remember the many pieces of the stories.
